Mallorca is the somewhat bigger sister of Ibiza. It measures over an hour to cross by car. Palma, the main city, has its own beautiful cathedral, a burgeoning cafe, art and cultural scene and many places to go and explore. From the tiniest village in the mountains, to a long stretched beach – where a walk can take you a good hour to get from one end to the other.
A personal favourite is to explore all the little back roads in Palma town, get a group of people to go on a little sail boat and eat local food.
My family is routed here, so we go on long paella lunches, and bike rides to explore the ever hidden corners on the island. There are so many outdoor activities to choose from, hiking, walking, horse riding, cycling, swimming, tennis, or simply sitting in a cafe for hours and observing Majorcan life.
My friends have recently opened a creative co-working space called ‘Especial Pulpo’, here you can meet creatives, rent a flat for a week and use the large studio space to work and interact with like-minded people.
